Acupuncture works by placing needles on specific points of the body to unblock Qi and restore the body to balance. Qi is the energy that permeates all things. When the body is balanced, qi flows freely and a person is healthy. When a person is sick or injured there is an obstruction of qi. The body has an amazing ability to heal itself. Acupuncture assists the body in this healing process, promoting an optimal state of balance and well-being.

Microcurrent utilizes low level electricity to trigger chemical reactions at a cellular level. It stimulates production of collagen and elastin, leaving the skin looking firm and smooth. For optimal results, treatments should be administered twice a week for 5 weeks with periodic maintenance every 60-90 days. Of course, we can always adjust depending on people's needs.
